Position: I&C Technician (14x14 Offshore)

Primary

Responsibilities
  • Respond and provide Instrumentation and Controls support during outages.
  • Support the daily operations of the business unit through the installation, programming, start-up and maintenance of automation and process control equipment.
  • Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Information Technology Groups.
  • Responsible for adhering to all health and safety policies and guidelines.
Required Skills
  • Directly interface with clients and company management to report project status, risks and resolutions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose various instrumentation and control problems.
  • Candidate should be familiar with Offshore Oil & Gas Processing Facilities.
  • Strong understanding of instrumentation required.
  • Strong understanding of Control System Design and Project Execution.
Requirements
  • Two-year technical degree in instrumentation from technical institute or 5-year relevant work experience.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and excellent communication (written and oral) skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, technical, and functional skills with the ability to multi-task and be willing to learn.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively and cooperatively, take direction, work well in a team environment, and interact with all levels of management, engineering, systems, operations and field personnel.
