Project Manager - Woodlands, Texas
Garver's Aviation Team has been designing projects for over 250 aviation clients for the last six decades. We specialize in combining runway, roadway, facility, and electrical systems into integrated airport solutions that meet current and future needs.
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our multidisciplinary team in North Houston. The role will manage design, planning, funding, and client services for commercial and general‑air service airports in Texas, leading complex, multi‑year projects with Garver's diverse local and national staff.
Duties and responsibilities of this role will include:- Project management of aviation design projects related to new pavement construction, drainage improvements, utility relocation, sustainable design, and pavement rehabilitation projects.
- Construction administration and oversight for aviation clients.
- Collaborating and coordinating design teams consisting of multi‑discipline design engineers, planners, and technicians.
- Coordination with clients, stakeholders, and funding agencies.
- Provide outstanding client service.

Requirements- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET‑accredited program
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- 6-10 years of experience in civil engineering with aviation project experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Working knowledge of design software packages such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Some travel may be required (approximately 10% with occasional overnight)
- Project management of construction values up to +$2M
- Previous experience working with a multi‑disciplined team while overseeing project execution
- Experience in managing construction projects at airports
- Licensed pilot or other aviation‑related experience
