Job Title: Senior Project Engineer – Control Systems (Offshore & Subsea)
Location: The Woodlands, hybrid 9/80 schedule with 3 days in office
Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2
Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Engineer with a strong background in control systems and automation for offshore and subsea environments. This role is responsible for managing engineering contractors and third-party integrators, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with brownfield upgrades and downstream automation projects.
Responsibilities- Lead control system projects, including brownfield upgrades and automation in downstream operations.
- Interface with third-party integrators and engineering contractors.
- Review designs, installations, and commissioning activities for compliance with specifications.
- Maintain project documentation and provide regular status updates.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Process Controls, or Controls Engineering.
- 10+ years’ experience in control systems, automation, and downstream operations.
- Experience collaborating with engineering contractors or third-party integrators.
- Knowledge of brownfield upgrades, system commissioning, and project execution.
- Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Offshore or subsea control system experience.
Travel is not expected.
