Job Summary

The Business Development Analyst conducts quantitative and qualitative analyses for pricing proposals for early-stage projects and administers the Commercial Development budget. The Analyst, Business Development will report directly to Excelerate Energy’s Director, Financial Strategy and Economics and indirectly to Director, FP&.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare early-stage project pricing proposals using in-house models and templates.
  • Prepare various scenarios and sensitivity analysis for each project.
  • Work collaboratively with the operations, engineering, business development and finance teams to gather consistent and reasonable inputs for models and analyze the results.
  • Present summarized pricing and modeling results to different levels of management.
  • Assist with regular updates and maintenance of the Commercial Development budget.
  • Assist with AFE development and expense approvals.
  • Assist with other ad hoc and special projects as assigned.
Travel Requirements

Up to 10% of international travel.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
  • Possesses solid working knowledge of financial modeling, including project modeling.
  • Intermediate accounting proficiency. Must have strong working knowledge of Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow and their interdependence.
  • Intermediate to advanced modeling skills in Excel.
  • 1+ years of project modeling and relevant experience.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to relentlessly identify and seek needed information both internally and externally.
  • High motivation and initiative with an ability to work without close supervision.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
