Security Officer - Armed Patrol

Allied Universal - Up to $16.50/hour -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.;
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout interior areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or theft, and to identify hazards such as unsecured doors or restricted-area access issues.;
Control access to restricted areas by verifying authorization, monitoring entry points during patrol, and completing visitor and/or vendor screening per site policy.;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation and timely communication with clinical leadership and/or local law enforcement as needed.;
Complete required reports and documentation for incidents, patrol activity, and policy exceptions, and communicate observations to the appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
