Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role involves efficiently handling, moving, and organizing materials within our facility to support smooth warehouse and order processing operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.

Pay Rate for this role is $20.75 an hour.

Primary Duties
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to transport goods within the warehouse.
  • Load, unload, stack, and organize products and materials in designated storage areas according to safety and quality standards.
  • Assist with order processing tasks, including picking, packing, and preparing shipments to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment and promptly report any issues to maintenance personnel.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace, compliant with company policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with warehouse and logistics teams to prioritize tasks, optimize workflow, and meet operational goals.
  • Strictly follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while performing duties.
  • Participate in safety training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and workplace safety.
Qualifications
  • Valid forklift certification and proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and commitment to safe work practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret shipping orders, labels, and inventory documentation accurately.
  • Physical capability to lift moderate to heavy loads and work in a physically demanding setting.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Basic proficiency in using warehouse management systems or inventory software is preferred.
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and strong attention to detail in task execution.
Education / Experience

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience of at least 1 year as a forklift operator or order processor in a similar industrial or warehouse setting is highly desirable.

The US base rate for this full-time position is 20.75. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
