Overview
Reports To:
Front Office Manager
Summary
Attends to breakfast area service needs by preparation and set up breakfast buffet, maintaining appearance of breakfast area and maintaining safety of breakfast area. Replenishing, stocking all breakfast items. Communications with General Manager for feedback and reports.
Requirements- Customer Service experience in any food service establishment
- Ability to speak English
- Willing to work on weekends and holidays.
- Must have Food Handler License
- Stand for long periods, walk, and ability to bend, stretch, and twist.
- Reach with body, arms, and legs steadily.
- Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Prepare and set up breakfast buffet in accordance to brand and/or hotel standards.
- Ensure proper appearance of the breakfast area, including the lobby area, and maintain the safety and appearance of the breakfast area before, during, and after breakfast times.
- Trash disposal in all public areas, sweep/mop accordingly and wiping of all surfaces.
- Follow the breakfast guidelines in accordance with the hotel operational policies and brand standards.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and friendly guest service.
- Provide timely feedback to supervisor or General Manager.
- Ensure and be involved in timely preparation, setting up, replenishing, and stocking all breakfast items and cleanup, in accordance with the hotel brand standards.
- Understand and maintain adequate inventory levels of breakfast supplies.
- Ensure and verify all the inventory and supplies received.
- Follow all purchase and storage guidelines as per the hotel procedures.
- Maintain the breakfast area and lobby area – cleanliness, well stocked and presentable always during the breakfast hours.
- Understand brand-specific breakfast standards and Quality Assurance standards.
- Provide courteous and friendly guest service.
- Engage guests to solicit feedback on their experience.
- Update General Manager with the feedback from guests.
- Help in other areas as required and all other tasks as requested by MOD.
- Knowledge of hotel’s occupancy level each day and adjust breakfast output.
- Enforce all new updates for brand standards policies and procedures for breakfast department.
