A caring and inclusive specialist school in Thatcham is looking for a Mental Health Assistant to support pupils with emotional and mental health needs. This is a full-time, long-term role, ideal for individuals seeking experience in mental health, psychology, or education.
As a Mental Health Assistant, you will support students with anxiety, Autism, ADHD, trauma, and social-emotional difficulties, helping them develop coping strategies, emotional regulation skills, and confidence in a safe and nurturing environment.

The Mental Health Assistant role includes 1:1 and small group support, working alongside teachers, therapists, and SEN staff to promote emotional wellbeing and engagement in learning.
