About the Role
We are recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to work within a SEND School in Maidenhead. This school is located in the Maidenhead area and has a warm, caring and vibrant environment which provides support and challenge to ensure that all students, regardless of their starting points, achieve well to go on and lead happy and fulfilled lives.
Full‑time role:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. You will support children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, assisting the class teacher and working with children who have various learning difficulties.
- Support a child with their learning and development as a SEND Teaching Assistant
- Contribute to creating a safe, supportive & engaging learning environment
- Build a close bond with the child to ensure they feel comfortable both inside & outside the classroom
- Communicate closely with colleagues to ensure the progress of students is prioritised
- Available immediately, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
- Must have a CHILD ONLY DBS or be willing to obtain one
- Have experience working with children in some capacity where you can provide a reference
- Live local to Maidenhead or within a commutable distance
- You must be a UK resident or hold a full UK visa and be willing to complete a DBS check
Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
