Art & Photography Teacher Salary: MPS/UPS (£32,916-£51,048). Competitive salary for the Berkshire Area.

Contract:

Maternity cover, two days per week (Thursdays and Fridays). Kennet School embraces flexible working, and we are open to discuss possibilities for flexible working across all positions. All reasonable adjustments may be discussed during interview. Required for:

We are looking to appoint an exceptional teacher to join our school as a teacher of Art & Design. The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner who can demonstrate experience of raising attainment, with a proven track record of success in the classroom. The role holder will deliver engaging and innovative Art & Design lessons, fostering creativity and artistic exploration among pupils, as well as contributing to the rich co‑curricular programme Kennet School provides.

  • Able to teach a range of art disciplines and techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture and digital art.
  • Able to provide constructive feedback to support pupils, fostering their confidence and passion for art.
  • Willing to organise and participate in art exhibitions and showcases to celebrate pupils' artwork.
  • A clear communicator with strong values and sense of moral purpose.
