A welcoming and well-respected SEN school in Thatcham is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Autism, ADHD, and trauma-related difficulties. This role is ideal for graduates or aspiring professionals looking to build experience in mental health, education, or child-focused therapeutic work.
As a Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils supporting emotional regulation, behaviour management, and engagement with learning. You will be part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team including teachers, SENCOs, and mental health professionals.
