Learning Support Assistant
Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our team at BCA College, primarily supporting students aspiring to work in the Early Years sector. This permanent position involves working 37 hours per week, term time only, for 37 weeks of the year.
The role pays from £15,015.81 up to £22,246.80 (the full time equivalent would be £15,098 up to £17,784).
Responsibilities- Support students in developing the skills, attributes and behaviours needed to progress to further study and employment in the Early Years sector.
- Guide students through classroom theory and help them apply knowledge in practical sessions.
- Assist with teaching, learning and associated activities in accordance with college policies, procedures and individual EHCPs.
- Support whole classes; work with individuals and small groups of learners; assist with planning, delivery and evaluation of learning activities.
- Work closely with pastoral and welfare staff to support students to overcome learning, physical or emotional boundaries.
Working in a team under the direction and supervision of the Curriculum Director, Programme Manager and Lecturers.
