Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Derrickman based in Thane. The Derrickman will be responsible for ensuring proper operation and maintenance of drilling equipment. Daily tasks include assisting in rig floor operations, monitoring and maintaining mud-pumping systems, conducting routine inspections, and handling drill pipes and other drill-related tools. The Derrickman will closely work with other drilling personnel to ensure safety standards are met and that all procedures are executed efficiently on-site.

Qualifications

Experience in rig operations, drill pipe handling, and maintenance of drilling equipment
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures relevant to drilling and rigging operations
Ability to conduct inspections and basic troubleshooting for mechanical and drilling systems
Team collaboration skills with an emphasis on clear communication and adaptability
Physical fitness and readiness to work in challenging conditions
Prior experience in the drilling or oil and gas industry is a strong advantage
Relevant certifications in drilling operations or safety are beneficial
