Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server instances (2016 and above).
Manage database security, user access control, and encryption mechanisms.
Design, implement, and optimize database backup and recovery strategies using native and third-party tools.
Monitor and tune database performance, including indexing, query optimization, and resource management.
Configure and manage High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions (Always On, Log Shipping, Replication, Mirroring).
Automate routine database maintenance tasks using SQL Server Agent and Power Shell.
Perform database migration and upgrades across environments with minimal downtime.
Troubleshoot database-related incidents, working closely with application and infrastructure teams.
Implement and maintain SQL Server security best practices and compliance standards.
Work on capacity planning and resource optimization for SQL Server instances.
Knowledge in Microsoft Fabric Data Base Administrator (DBA)
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study.
Required Skills
7+years of database administrator experience.
Ready to work in rotational shift.
Strong experience with SQL Server installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
Deep understanding of execution plans, indexing, and query optimization techniques.
Hands-on experience with Always On Availability Groups, Failover Clustering, and Replication.
Working knowledge of MSSQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Postgre
SQL, AWS, Azure.
Coding and scripting.
Aware of ITIL process.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
Preferred Skills
Scripting (Python, Power Shell), MS Fabric.
