Job Summary - Tele Counsellor - Salary 18-20K per month

Role Summary
The Tele-Counsellor is responsible for engaging prospective students and parents over phone, email, and digital channels to provide information about academic programs, admission processes, eligibility criteria, and career pathways. The role focuses on lead conversion, relationship building, and supporting enrollment targets.

Key Responsibilities
Contact and follow up with prospective students generated through marketing campaigns, website inquiries, and referrals
Provide accurate information about programs, curriculum, fees, admission criteria, scholarships, and timelines
Understand student needs and recommend suitable courses or career pathways
Counsel students and parents on educational opportunities and career prospects
Maintain detailed and accurate records in CRM/ATS systems
Achieve monthly/quarterly enrollment and conversion targets
Coordinate with admissions, marketing, and academic teams for seamless student onboarding
Handle objections professionally and provide timely follow-ups
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Communications, or related field
1–3 years of experience in tele-counselling, academic advising, admissions, or inside sales (education sector preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience using CRM systems
Target-oriented with strong persuasion skills
