Position Summary
The Associate is responsible for performing accounting services (including balance sheet reconciliation and payroll services), assisting with monthly compilation engagements and audit preparation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Prepare financial statements and compilation reports (as needed) in a timely manner based on client deadline
Daily bookkeeping, weekly, monthly MIS Reporting
Grants accounting, Awards by the Govt. to the NPO Clients
Be responsible for completion of all month-end closing procedures and special projects in a timely manner based on client deadline
Suggest ideas to improve client processes or controls to managers or directors
GL Review
Good knowledge Grants, pledge etc. entries

Review and analyze client internal controls
Self-review all work papers, financial statements, and any other relevant documents before submission to manager or director for further review
Look for opportunities to provide additional services to clients

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field preferred
2+ years progressive accounting experience in public accounting or similar work environment
Strong organization, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft Excel and Word as well as proficiency with all accounting software necessary for performing your assignments (including but not limited to Quick Books Online)
Analytical skills with particular attention to detail

Our Hiring Process:
If the profile of a candidate gets shortlisted, the hiring team will get in touch within 72 hours. The initial shortlisting will be followed by 2 rounds of interview (Technical round & Interaction with Senior Management). Post Final Selection, there will be an interaction with HR representative.
