Chartered Accountant – Accounting & Financial Reporting; US GAAP​/IFRS

Job Summary We are seeking  Qualified Chartered Accountants (CAs)  with  2–8 years of experience  in  Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Compliance  under  US GAAP and/or IFRS . This role involves end-to-end accounting ownership, month-end close, financial reporting, and close coordination with global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Reporting
End-to-end accounting including GL, journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments
Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under  US GAAP / IFRS
Accurate reconciliations: bank, intercompany, AR/AP, and balance sheet accounts
Compliance & Controls
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and SOPs
Support statutory, internal, and client audits
Assist with  SOX controls , documentation, and testing (where applicable)
Closing & Process Management
Manage month-end and year-end close within defined timelines
Drive process improvements, automation, and standardization initiatives
Support transition of processes from client locations (if applicable)
Client & Stakeholder Interaction
Act as a point of contact for  US / global clients
Coordinate with onshore teams, auditors, and internal cross-functional teams
Prepare management reports, variance analysis, and MIS dashboards


Required Qualifications

Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
2–8 years  of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting
Strong hands-on experience with  US GAAP and/or IFRS
Technical & Functional Skills  Strong knowledge of  US GAAP / IFRS , financial statements & disclosures
Month-end close processes, balance sheet & P&L analysis

Experience with ERPs such as  Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, Quick Books , etc.
Advanced proficiency in  MS Excel
Exposure to GSS / Outsourcing / Shared Services  environments preferred
Soft Skills & Competencies  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Having good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
Client-focused mindset with high attention to detail
Adaptability to dynamic client and project requirements
