Job Description Summary Job Profile Summary

As a Market Logistics Operations Fleet Specialist, you will assist the Market Logistics Operations (MLO), Market Fleet Services (MFS) and MLO Fleet Manager in supporting compliance and maintenance of records.

Job Description DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintains truck files and DOT compliance for both Rental and Non-Rental Fleet
  • Schedules and coordinates Preventive Maintenance and DOT inspections on both Rental and Non-Rental Fleet (Trucks)
    MLO &MFS
  • Assists Fleet Manger with prioritizes drivers Fleet (Truck) call to ensure trucks are repaired in a timely manner.
  • Performs duties as Safety Coordinator in regard to DOT Fleet (MLO& MFS)
  • Performs as Safety Coordinator entering proactive events. (MLO & MFS)
  • Maintains all Drivers logs to ensure daily accurate.
  • Assigns all unidentified LYTX events to the correct drivers. (MLO&MFS)
  • Maintains Driver compliance management via JJ Keller
  • Maintains all outside hauler po's, Invoicing and Bennett portal to ensure accurate Monthly reporting.
  • Conducts weekly inspections of DOT Fleet to insure MLO/MFSCompliant.
  • Assists Fleet Manager in the warranty recovery process
  • Conducts reviews of closed work orders to ensure warranty opportunity has not been missed for both Rental and Non-Rental Fleet.
  • Catalogs warranty parts for validation upon manufacturer’s request
    Maintains Compliance with Manufacturer’s issued Service Bulletins
  • Maintains photographic and physical evidence relating to customer damage
  • Directs the supply of parts to shop, mechanics, other branches and customers.
  • Manages inventory and parts sourcing; processed work orders, POs, and invoices
  • Performs cycle counts to identify and manageobsolete parts;
    Works on Critical stock, excessive reserve on monthly basis.
  • Maintain MFS truck stock for accurate inventory and trucks always have parts in stock.
  • Assures that equipment is available as required.
  • Orders parts in order to maintain adequate supplies.
  • Works with equipment vendors to learn the maintenance requirements and capabilities of new equipment added to inventory.
  • Performs other duties assigned by manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3 years in the rental equipment or construction industries preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong experience with parts inventory management
  • Knowledge of purchasing process including optimum order sizing for reduced cost.

  • Well organized and effective communicator
  • High level of accountability, time management, and willingness to learn operations of the business
  • Possesses strong hands‑on understanding of DOT regulations, including but not limited to: load securement, legal weights & hauling allowances, over‑dimension permitting requirements, hours‑of‑service regulations and commercial vehicle maintenance inspection processes.

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
