Logistics Coordinator

The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods, materials, and information throughout the supply chain. This position supports daily logistics operations, coordinates shipments, communicates with vendors and carriers, and helps maintain accurate inventory and documentation. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely pickup and delivery
• Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, and suppliers to schedule transportation
• Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or issues
• Prepare and verify shipping documents (BOLs, packing lists, customs forms)
• Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies
• Assist with cycle counts and stock audits
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and movement of materials
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize space and workflow
• Maintain accurate records in logistics and ERP systems
• Process purchase orders, invoices, and delivery confirmations
• Generate reports on shipping performance, costs, and inventory status
• Support compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards
• Serve as a liaison between suppliers, carriers, internal departments, and customers
• Provide updates on order status, shipment tracking, and delivery timelines
• Escalate operational issues and recommend process improvements
• All other duties assigned.

• Knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations
• Familiarity with freight, LTL, FTL, and parcel carriers

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, or related field
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Proficiency with logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
