Job Description

Summary:

• Ensure prompt receipt and delivery of equipment from/to customers and other Sunbelt stores in accordance with company and DOT standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Central Service Manager.
• Coordinating and ensuring timely & accurate dispatch of Road Mechanics.
• Creating & monitoring road mechanic schedules.
• Creating & monitoring receipt & maintenance schedules for company equipment.
• Review daily & weekly driver logs per company & DOT standards.
• Perform daily truck inspections per company & DOT standards.
• Work closely with other store locations to meet customers' equipment needs.
• Handle customer complaints professionally to satisfaction.
• Report problems to supervisor timely and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Provide adequate feedback to Region or District PCs regarding timely delivery & receipt.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school education.
• Knowledge of DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Customer service & dispatch training a plus.
• At least two years prior knowledge of applications of various construction/industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of delivery area.
• Effective communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, stoop, squat, reach, crouch, kneel, sit or stand for long periods.

Physical Demands:

• Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 lbs or more, working indoors/outdoors.

Salary Range:

• $56,304.00 - $77,418.00
