bDelivery Specialist – O'Reilly Auto Parts
We are looking for a dependable Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles, deliver parts and products to professional customers, and handle customer returns and cash on delivery.
Responsibilities- Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products safely and efficiently.
- Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
- Maintain vehicles in a clean and secure condition, performing daily inspections before use and ensuring fuel, keys, fleet cards, and cash are protected at all times.
- Collect money on COD deliveries and pick up customer returns, filling out driver return slips as required.
- Communicate any customer or vehicle concerns to store management promptly.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager immediately.
- Secure the vehicle and lock the fuel tank at the end of the business day.
- Clock in/out according to company policy.
- Assist with customer service, cashiering, merchandising, and general stock duties as business demands.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by management.
- Quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
- Valid state driver’s license and a driving record that meets the company’s 14/18‑point system.
- Experience with automotive parts is preferred.
- Ability to operate light store equipment.
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
