Job Description Primary Responsibilities- Design and development of source code management processes in Git environment – Git Hub /Atlassian Stash experience preferred.
- Design and development of parameter based and dynamically executed automation functions using toolsets like Jenkins, IBM Urbancode Deploy for build and deploy of software code artefacts in various deployment environments.
- Build Engineer for Product Teams – plan and coordinate the build process for iterative releases, maintaining object level tracking and coordinating multi-step migrations and Smoke Testing.
- Optimization of development team experiences by integrating various code quality and testing tools like Fisheye, Crucible, Ntest, Jtest, Sahi Pro, Selenium, etc.
- Coordinate with global resources regarding Systems Engineering initiatives and priorities.
- Analyze Source Control Management utilization and work with Systems Engineering and DBA’s to optimize performance.
- Maintain and update technical documentation related to automation processes and performance management with each new release.
- Provide on call support for the continuous integration processes for a global user base.
- Identify risks and resolve issues as they arise in the CI process build and support to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Manage medium to large projects end to end including planning, coordinating with various resources within Fidelity for successful execution.
- Past development experience in java, .NET or database areas is a plus.
- A good understanding of Nexus artifacts management system is a plus.
- BS or MS in a technology related discipline.
- 6+ years of experience with systems integration development projects.
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Jenkins, IBM Urbancode Deploy or similar batch automation tools.
- Recent experience working in Git source code management platform.
- Thorough understanding of Systems Engineering concepts, particularly as they apply to Security and Performance.
- Working knowledge of continuous build processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Significant experience in build automation.
- Experience with Agile development processes and principles an advantage.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience with Unix and Linux platforms.
- Past experience within Financial Services Firms and/or supporting the Finance or Compliance function would be a plus.
- Technical project delivery and management.
- Continuous integration and application life cycle management.
