Golang Engineer; AWS​/Python Cloud team

Description:

We are seeking a strong local resource in the Dallas area to go through a fast 2 round process with our direct client for a long term W2 consulting position, where the rate range will be 65-70 on an hourly W2 basis. Strong candidates will have experience building not only with Golang, but 2-3 other programming languages, preferably Java, Python, or Terraform.

To be considered, applications must be local, willing to interview in person, and come ready to speak about modernizing different applications using a wide array of libraries, SDK tools, frameworks, and AWS based services and infrastructure.

Rate: $65 – $70 / hr. w2

• Develop and build new solutions, platforms, and other components pivotal to the cloud journey of the organization
• Partner with others in a fast paced agile environment and navigate large and technically complex ecosystems
• Once integrated and ramped up, be able to develop secure, scalable solutions, frameworks, tools, and capabilities, and platforms, for both internal users and customer facing applications which are supported by a large Fortune 500 software and cloud development community

• 5 years of software/cloud technologies, with expert abilities with Golang
• Ability to work with containerized applications, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Willingness to dive into other application stacks (Java/NodeJS) as well as CICD tools and pipelines
• Able to support large development communities and work across different products, and platforms, and solutions delivered by both the team and other development teams (help remove or support tasks which can be considered heavy lifting / things which slow down others when working in the build/deploy stages for getting applications into the cloud)

Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent degree in a neighboring Science/Mathematics discipline is a must.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
