Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the planning, coordination, and administration of Roman Catholic religious services and parish activities.
  • Assist the Catholic Chaplain and Priest with scheduling, calendars, and program coordination.
  • Prepare and distribute parish announcements, calendars, and other communications.
  • Coordinate and support volunteers and lay ministry activities.
  • Assist with sacramental preparation activities and related documentation.
  • Maintain records for parish participation, events, and programs.
  • Ensure compliance with child protection, background check, and safety requirements.
  • Prepare required reports and documentation in support of chapel operations and contract requirements.
Education and/or Experience Required
  • Experience supporting Catholic parish programs, ministry activities, or religious education.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a military religious support environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to successfully complete background checks and installation access requirements.
Preferred Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in theology, religious studies, pastoral ministry, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting Roman Catholic programs in a military or chaplaincy setting.
  • Experience coordinating volunteers and parish activities.
