Fire Safety Trainee

We’re seeking a Service Technician Trainee — someone who’s eager to learn the fire protection trade and grow into a licensed, skilled technician. This role is ideal for candidates with basic trade, construction, mechanical, or electrical experience who want hands-on training, real advancement, and a company that rewards initiative and hard work.

You’ll work directly with experienced team members, learning to install, inspect, and maintain fire protection systems while gaining exposure to multiple divisions — extinguishers, kitchen systems, alarms, sprinklers, and more.

• Assist senior technicians with inspections, installations, and maintenance of fire protection systems
• Learn to identify system components and understand basic NFPA codes and safety standards
• Use hand tools, ladders, and testing equipment safely and effectively
• Maintain clean, organized company vehicles and tools
• Communicate professionally with team members and customers
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times

Our Ideal Candidate has basic mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or construction experience and the ability to use hand tools effectively.

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
• Comfortable using tools, ladders, and working in commercial environments
• Tech-friendly — able to use smartphones, tablets, or apps for reports and scheduling
• Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on-site at various customer locations

$18 - $20 hourly
