This is a full-time, on-site role for a Certified Welding Specialist located in New Mexico or Arizona. The Certified Welding Specialist will be responsible for safely performing welding tasks, including arc welding, TIG welding, and MIG welding, to ensure the integrity and safety of pipeline systems. The specialist will inspect and prepare materials, assess welding needs, maintain equipment safety standards, and collaborate with team members to meet project specifications.
Adherence to safety protocols and industry best practices will be a key part of the role.
- Proficiency in Arc Welding, TIG Welding, and MIG Welding techniques
- Strong understanding of materials and their applications in welding processes
- Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality welding tasks with accuracy and precision
- Knowledge of safety protocols and standards in welding and pipeline inspection environments
- Relevant certifications in welding or related fields required
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Previous experience in pipeline inspections or the oil and gas industry is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in welding is preferred
