Skilled Laborer/Handyman

Starting Pay Rate: $18.00–$21.00/hour, paid weekly
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsible for the construction, repair, and refurbishment of modular units in accordance with company policies, procedures, and specifications set by the Operations Manager. This is a hands‑on role requiring light construction, carpentry, and maintenance skills.

• Clean and prepare modular units for customer delivery.
• Wash, wax, and repair flooring; install or replace floor tiles.
• Install or replace windows, doors, and exterior siding.
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces to specification.
• Remove and replace walls, lighting, plumbing, and electrical fixtures.
• Perform light carpentry and repair work both in the yard and at customer job sites.
• Safely operate hand and power tools to complete assigned tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Interface with customers professionally while on job sites.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Entry-level to intermediate experience in construction, maintenance, or repair.
• Basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical knowledge preferred.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work orders accurately.
• Must be dependable, safety-minded, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, and climbing.
• Manual dexterity and grip strength sufficient to handle tools and materials.
• Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and in noisy environments.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
