Automation Maintenance Technician

Automation Maintenance Technician- $28.00-$32.00 DOE

A local company in Conroe, TX is searching for a automation maintenance technician to assist in the company’s daily operations. This is a temp-hire position in a fast-paced environment and the ideal candidate will have extensive experience installing, maintaining, and repairing computer-controlled systems and robotic devices in industrial settings. Summary of essential job functions:

• Install, maintain, and repair automated equipment and systems
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment problems using various tools and software
• Implement upgrades and modifications to improve system performance and functionality
• Repair electrical circuits, sensors, and control systems
• Manage mechanical components, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Follow safety regulations and protocols for operating equipment

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Manual machining and metal fabrication skills
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Computer literate with strong technical documentation skills
• Basic CNC/Machining expertise is a plus
• Forklift operation is a plus
• LabVIEW programming experience is a plus
