Heavy Equipment Mechanic – Lone Star Project

Requisition : 175136

Base Pay Range: $32.00/hr – $32.00/hr

Position Summary: TIC is looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for the Lone Star project located in Shepherd, TX.

Requirements
  • At least 3 years' experience as a Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic.
  • Must be able to maintain, diagnose, and repair all types of heavy construction equipment including hydraulic, electric, and power train systems.
  • Experience working with Caterpillar, Liebherr, Xtreme, and Takeuchi equipment.
  • Experience with diagnostic systems: CAT ET, Cummins INSITE, Diesel Laptop.
Job Details
  • Current schedule: 7:00 am – 5:30 pm (Monday–Friday).
  • Up to $32/hour, depending on experience.
  • $100 per diem per day worked if applicable.
  • All offers contingent on passing a Drug and Alcohol test.
Work Environment
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and move around a construction/industrial site.
  • Exposure to changing outdoor weather conditions.
  • Work may require irregular hours, weekends, overtime, and holidays.
  • May need to use ladders, mechanical platforms, manlifts, and scaffolds to access equipment; may exceed 200 ft. must climb and maintain balance.
  • Move and work in confined, cluttered places and uneven surfaces.
  • Complete tasks in a noisy and dusty environment.
  • May be required to move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have required tools.
  • Observe and comply with all safety and project rules.
  • Pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing and be fit for duty medically.
