This is a full-time, on-site position for a Security Officer at LOS FRESNOS CISD, located in Los Fresnos, TX. The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of students, staff, and school property. Duties include monitoring school grounds, identifying and addressing potential security risks, enforcing school policies, and responding to emergencies. The Security Officer will work closely with school administrators and law enforcement as needed to provide a safe environment.

• Experience in security services, safety procedures, and emergency response protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and the public
• Ability to assess potential safety risks and handle security incidents effectively
• Knowledge of security technology, surveillance systems, and documentation procedures
• Physical ability to perform patrols and respond promptly to emergency situations
• Familiarity with school policies and basic conflict resolution strategies
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in security or law enforcement are a plus
• Experience working in an educational or similar environment is advantageous
