Join H‑E‑B as a Perishable Representative responsible for keeping the department well‑stocked, preparing fresh products, delivering superior customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting various technical and manufacturing functions.

• Provide superior customer service at the register and in person.
• Take orders, answer product questions, and assist customers with selections.
• Prepare, package, and merchandise fresh foods daily.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and department SOPs.
• Use suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and increase sales.
• Assist in technical areas as required.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, walking, reaching, and rotating produce.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age 18.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Basic computer system knowledge (Telxon, ACR, label machine).
• Commitment to partner‑owned culture, quality and customer service.

• Lifting up to 90 lbs in the Market role; up to 50 lbs in Seafood.
• Standing, walking, reaching, bending, and stooping for up to 8 hours.
• Exposure to wet, cold, hot conditions and loud noise.
