• Prepare, transport and replenish all food and beverage items to buffet areas.
• Monitor supplies of food, beverages, trays, plates, utensils, napkins and condiments.
• Follow preparation methods, times, quality and presentation standards; monitor taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, portion size and garnish.
• Welcome guests and respond to requests promptly and professionally; refer serious matters to management.
• Requisition inventory to maintain adequate minimum and maximum stocks of all food, beverage, material and equipment.
• Control food and beverage costs and ensure proper storage, security and waste minimization.
• Maintain a clean, neat and well‑organized buffet area; empty trash receptacles and clear tables as required.
• Check the working condition of equipment and machinery; report unsafe or malfunctioning equipment.
• Operate dishwashing machine as specified; place clean dishes and utensils in assigned storage location.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We Need from You –

• Basic reading, writing and math skills; some prior food preparation experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand, move about kitchen and cafeteria, handle food and utensils.
• Communication skills; reading and writing abilities; mathematical skills.
