Role

Summary:

Beach Park's restaurant bartenders welcome guests with accurate, efficient and friendly service when processing alcoholic beverages.

• Must be willing to accept the most effective role, as delegated by management.

• Makes guest service and guest satisfaction a priority in every aspect of the job.

• Receives drink orders from guest.

• Provides orders with a sense of urgency.

• Verifies that guests meet minimum age requirements for alcohol purchases.

• Runs and balances a cash register in an honest, organized, efficient, safe and courteous manner.

• Demonstrates knowledge of Beach Park at Isla Blanca.

• Serves alcoholic drinks to guests following standard recipes and policies and procedures.

• Completes an accurate opening and closing inventory of product.

• Arranges bottles to make an attractive display behind the bar.

• Maintains cleanliness of bar and surrounding areas utilizing sanitation procedures.

• Collects payment and reconciles change fund at end of events.

• Recognizes guests that are visibly intoxicated and takes action to cut off alcohol to such individuals.

• Must maintain a clean, organized work area and complete end-of-shift cleaning duties.

• Must be at least 18 years old (Texas).

• Must possess a high level of integrity.

• Must possess basic math skills to pass Beach Park's math/cashiering test.

• Must have or be willing to obtain a Food Handlers and TABC Certificate.

• Walking to and from your entire assigned area and stairs when necessary.

• Standing for extended periods of time.

• Must be able to withstand direct and indirect exposure to sun and heat for extended periods of time.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Must frequently use arms, hands and fingers to reach and handle tools and controls.
