Role Summary

Beach Park restaurant Barbacks welcome guests with accurate, efficient and friendly service when processing alcoholic beverages.

• Must be willing to accept the most effective role, as delegated by management.
• Makes guest service and guest satisfaction a priority in every aspect of the job.
• Receives drink orders from guests.
• Provides orders with a sense of urgency.
• Verifies that guests meetpump minimum age requirements for alcohol purchases.
• Runs and balances a cash register in an honest, organized, efficient, safe and courteous manner.
• Serves alcoholic drinks to guests following standard recipes and policies and procedures.
• Completes an accurate opening and closing inventory of product.
• Arranges bottles to make an attractive display behind the bar.
• Maintains cleanliness of bar and surrounding areas utilizing sanitation procedures.
• Collects payment and reconciles change fund at the end of events.
• Assists bartenders with maintaining daily inventory and needed supplies.
• Must maintain a clean, organized work area and complete end‑of‑shift cleaning duties.

• Must be at least 18 years old (Texas).
• Must possess a high level of integrity.
• Must possess basic math skills to pass Beach Park math/cashiering test.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a Food Handlers and TABC Certificate.

• Walking to and from your entire assigned area and stairs when necessary.
• Standing for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to withstand direct and indirect exposure to sun and heat for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must frequently use arms, hands and fingers to reach and handle tools and controls.
