Crew Member, Restaurant​/Food Service

The Crew Member interacts with guests and staff in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner, helping them to understand our menu offerings and taking orders accurately.

He or she will help with other duties such as cleaning and/or prep work.

The ideal candidate has a pleasant and courteous personality, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong guest service skills. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greets all guests in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
• Takes orders and serves meals and beverages promptly and courteously
• Ensures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored
• Helps with other areas of the restaurant when needed
• Completes opening and/or closing checklists
• Arrives early and prepared and is willing to stay past scheduled time, if necessary
• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• One year of relevant experience preferred
• Point-of-sale (cash register) and credit or debit card processing skills
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers, co-workers, management, and others
• Able to overcome obstacles while maintaining a friendly, positive attitude
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
• Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
