As an Inspection and Document Administrator
, you will provide vital administrative support to the Inspection Department and Quality team, enabling efficient inspection processes.
- Collate, scan, and save marked-up drawings and documents to relevant job folders and project files.
- Coordinate and support the entry of Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) system entries and Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs).
- Compile Project Data Books, including certificates, test results, welding plans, and inspection documents.
- Liaise with other departments to resolve documentation issues and ensure accuracy.
- Review and stamp certification received during Goods In, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and quality plans.
- Support booking of inspection activities in Epicor and attendance at daily stand-up meetings.
- Ensure correct storage and management of supplier documentation.
- Validate purchased raw materials and services against customer requirements.
- Raise and support investigation of non-conformances.
- Prepare and maintain product specifications, process procedures, and summary QA/QC documentation.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental procedures.
- Experience in Document Control within an engineering environment.
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities, with attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret technical and engineering drawings.
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills.
- Knowledge of relevant design codes such as ASME Section II, British Standards, and NORSOK.
- Basic knowledge of NDT practices.
- Experience with Epicor, Agility, ECR and CAPA systems (desirable).
- Ability to influence without authority and manage conflicting priorities.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
