Horseshoe Bay Resort Marina is hiring Seasonal Charter Mates to join our team on the shores of beautiful Lake LBJ. If you want an office where the sun is always shining and the "commute" involves a wakeboard, this is it. While this is a seasonal position, there is always the potential for top performers to explore year-round opportunities.

We’re looking for high-energy individuals who can deliver luxury service while living the lake life.

As a Seasonal Charter Mate, you are the engine behind our guests’ lake experience. You’ll spend your days on the water, blending technical boating skills with elite customer service to ensure every guest has a safe, high-octane, and memorable time.

• Wakeboat Captain:
  Serve as the lead for our water sports experiences, safely operating resort wakeboats and pontoon boats.
• Water Sports Instructor:
  Train guests on various water sports and help them master their boards and skis.
• Precision Handling:
  Drive and park V-hull vessels and wakeboats, including both Resort-owned craft and members' personal boats.
• Trailer & Ramp Expert:
  Master trailer valeting, including backing down the ramp to drop off and pick up watercraft with precision.
• Marina Operations:
  Greet members, assist with boat fueling, manage Ship Store rentals, and keep our fleet in pristine, "resort-ready" condition.

• Boating Expertise:
  Must possess a current Boater Safety Certification and demonstrate proficiency in driving various watercraft.
• Minimum Age: 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
• Safety Training:
  If you do not have CPR/First Responder cert, we provide the training for you.
• The Vibe: A friendly, outgoing personality. You should be someone who enjoys "pampering" guests and anticipating their needs.
• Physical Agility:
  Ability to work outdoors in the Texas heat, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 45 lbs.
