Groundskeeper

Assists in all groundskeeping activities assigned, to include landscaping, lawn and plant care, pest control, greenhouse production, flowerbed maintenance, and related functions.

• Exhibits regular and punctual attendance
• Assists in landscaping activities as assigned
• Assists with farm and ranch activities as assigned
• Assists in lawn and plant care activities as assigned
• Assists with pest control activities as assigned
• Assists in providing training and direction for residents participating in horticulture activities, to include safety training
• Assists in maintaining equipment and shop area as assigned
• Maintains Greenhouse and planting activities
• Maintains all flowerbeds on campus activity buildings
• Scouting of insects, weeds, diseases and deficiencies of flowers and plants
• Assists in provision of education concerning care of flowers and plants
• Exhibits appropriate interaction with residents

• A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required
• Proficiency in general horticulture equipment operation is required
• Must possess exceptional time management and detail-oriented skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand/eye coordination, pushing/pulling, prolonged sitting/standing
