. This position is based in Jarrell, Texas, a rapidly growing community near Austin, and offers a supportive, patient‑centric environment with advanced diagnostic tools and an in‑hospital surgery suite.
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing laboratory work.
- Lead and mentor the medical team, ensure efficient workflow, and foster skill growth for colleagues.
- Serve as a key point of contact for pet owners, educating them on treatments, reviewing medical records, and answering questions.
- Contribute to a positive culture through ongoing training, feedback, and upholding high standards of care.
- Graduate of an AVMA‑accredited Veterinary Technician program.
- Current state veterinary technician license (LVT) in good standing.
- Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
- A calm and efficient approach, especially in fast‑paced or stressful situations.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for collaborative work.
- One year of experience in the veterinary industry preferred.
