Hearts for Homes is a Christian outreach providing hope and dignity through home rehabilitation and maintenance, ensuring low-income seniors, ages 60 and over, have a safe, comfortable, and functional home to age in place.
1. How can volunteers help?
Volunteers are the backbone of Hearts for Homes, providing thousands of hours of direct, hands-on service to seniors through our Home Repair and Case Management programs. If you feel called to help seniors in Denton County, please complete our online application.
After submitting your application, we will connect with you to start volunteering!
3. What can volunteers do during a shift?
Provide lawn-mowing services for homeowners during grass-cutting season at your convenience. If you have lawn equipment and can travel, we would love to match you with a senior to care for their lawn regularly. This requires a long-term commitment. For more information, contact Shaun at or email shaun.
