Lawn Maintenance and General Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Lawn Maintenance and General Property Maintenance Worker to perform routine groundskeeping and basic property maintenance tasks. This role involves maintaining lawns, landscapes, and outdoor areas, as well as assisting with general upkeep of properties to ensure they are safe, clean, and well-presented.

Key Responsibilities:

Lawn & Grounds Maintenance

• Mow, edge, trim, and maintain lawns
• Prune shrubs, trees, and hedges
• Weed garden beds and landscaped areas
• Apply mulch, fertilizers, and basic lawn treatments as directed
• Clean up leaves, grass clippings, and debris

General Property Maintenance

• Perform basic repairs and maintenance (minor carpentry, painting, fence repairs, etc.)
• Pressure wash sidewalks, driveways, and exterior surfaces
• Maintain outdoor furniture, signage, and fixtures
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal or leaf removal (if applicable)
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors

Equipment & Safety

• Safely operate and maintain lawn care equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
• Perform basic equipment inspections and maintenance
• Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment
• Keep tools and work areas clean and organized

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, or property maintenance preferred
• Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and maintenance techniques
• Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license (preferred or required, if applicable)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work outdoors for extended periods
