Responsibilities- Safely restrain patients using low-stress measures
- Perform x-rays
- Prep for and assist with surgeries
- Perform venipuncture
- Place IV catheters
- Maintain accurate electronic records
- Obtain patient history and educate clients about common pet health concerns
- Must also perform front desk operations such as answering the phones and scheduling appointments
- Clean enclosures, feed, and walk pets
- Available to work full-time; reports indicate weekday hours until 6:30 pm and rotating Saturdays 8 am – 1 pm
- At least 1 year of experience in assisting with surgery is preferred, but we will train the right person
- Experience with Idexx/Cornerstone is a plus
- Previous surgery experience is strongly preferred
- Ideal candidates will have experience performing dental prophylaxis and x-rays
- Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs and work on your feet most of the day
- Available to work full-time
