As Director of Nursing, you will oversee daily nursing operations and elevate clinical quality across the facility. You will:
- Lead and manage nursing teams to ensure high‑quality, patient‑centered care
- Provide coaching, development, and mentorship to nurse leaders and staff
- Ensure compliance with TJC, CMS, and state regulations
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning
- Monitor clinical outcomes and drive quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support treatment goals
- Participate in leadership meetings and support strategic decision‑making
You’ll operate with autonomy at the facility level while benefiting from Acadia Healthcare’s national resources:

- Active RN License (Texas or eligible for reciprocity)
- Proven Nursing Leadership (DON, ADON, Nurse Manager, or equivalent)
- Behavioral Health Experience in an inpatient psychiatric or residential setting (required)
- Education:
BSN required; MSN or mental health nursing specialty preferred - Experience:
- 5+ years RN experience
- 2–3+ years progressive nursing management
- 1–2+ years behavioral health RN experience preferred
