Required Skills:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license with certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related fields
• Experience in general medicine, physical assessments, and interview-based examinations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Competency in performing range of motion and muscle strength testing

• Prior experience in Compensation & Pension exams or military medical assessments
• Knowledge of veterans' healthcare needs and procedures
• Familiarity with administrative reporting and documentation procedures

• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher
• At least 1-2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in general medicine
• Previous experience in military or veteran healthcare settings is a plus

• Own a private office or workspace suitable for conducting exams (Uvalde and Ft. Davis, TX)
• Reliable internet and communication capabilities for reporting and documentation
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to all applicable laws and standards
• Willingness to work on a PRN basis, including potential for half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts
• Local candidates only; travel expenses are included in rates

• Hourly rate of $402.00, with flat rates of $600 for half-day shifts and $1200 for full-day shifts
• One-time signing bonus of $650 upon completing training and first exams
