Director of Nursing (DON)

Lead with Compassion. Inspire with Excellence. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team. In this key leadership role, you will shape the care experience for our residents while guiding and supporting the nursing staff with professionalism, integrity, and clinical excellence.

• Ensure compliance with company, state, and federal nursing service guidelines.
• Lead the nursing team—manage recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance.
• Support direct care by stepping in on the floor when needed.
• Review payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain resident records for accuracy and appropriate documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
• Ensure nursing staff have timely access to equipment and supplies.
• Coach, mentor, and support staff to improve performance and outcomes.

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the State of Texas.
• Proven leadership experience in long‑term care or geriatric nursing.
• Strong clinical skills and a restorative care approach.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent organizational,Mp, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
