Job Overview

Deer Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center (555 Ranch Rd 3237, Wimberley, TX 78676, USA) is searching for a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide high‑quality resident care.

Hours: Double Weekend, 2 p.m. – 10 p.m., Monday – Friday.

Primary purpose: ensure the highest quality of resident care, support staff and establish a positive reputation while delivering on Eduro Health Care Values.

• Use infection control/prevention techniques in rendering care.
• Observe participant diets/diet restrictions as prescribed by the physician.
• Provide daily meal service to ensure participants receive meals accurately and timely.
• Report inadequate dietary or fluid intake to Program/Health Director.
• Assist in the provision of emergency care.
• Pass medications as required.
• Complete treatments and other care activities as ordered by the physician.
• Be personally involved with all aspects of resident care to assess quality.
• Report immediately to legal authorities if you suspect abuse or theft of personal property.
• Create and maintain a warm, cheerful, enthusiastic, and loving environment, reflecting Eduro Health Care core values.

• Licensed RN in good standing in the state of employment.
• Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program.
• Complete orientation as required by company policy.
• Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment.
• Mandatory drug test upon hire.
• Free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check.
• Show satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment within three days of hire.
