• Perform dressing changes, wound assessments, and specialized skin treatments.
• Monitor and document healing progress of wounds, incisions, and skin concerns.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and families regarding care plans.
• Evaluate residents’ nutritional and hydration needs related to wound healing.
• Review lab results and respond to signs of infection.
• Educate staff on wound prevention and treatment protocols.
• Assist with floor staffing as needed to ensure continuity of care.

• Holds an active LVN or RN license in good standing with the state.
• Has experience in wound care and treatment procedures (preferred).
• Possesses strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Works independently and thrives in a team‑centered environment.
• Demonstrates a compassionate, resident‑centered approach to nursing.
