Medical/Surgical - Med Surg RN - Travel Nurse
We're looking for Medical Surgical RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Decatur, TX. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
Responsibilities- Conduct patient assessments and document findings.
- Provide bedside care for pre- and post‑op patients.
- Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication; report adverse reactions.
- Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
- Assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
- Educate patients on surgical procedures and discharge planning.
BLS
, 1 year RN experience. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
Stand, walk, and lift 20 lb; may need to lift patients up to 50 lb occasionally. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
