Full-time Pastor - First Baptist Church, Springlake (Springlake, TX)

First Baptist Church of Springlake, TX is seeking a Southern Baptist pastor for Christ-centered preaching, teaching and pastoral care, along with administrative leadership and community engagement. We are seeking the man that God has called to this position to lead our rural congregation. This man must preach and teach the Bible as the inerrant Word of God, as he exhibits the character qualifications in his life and ministry as listed in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.

We are searching for the man who will encourage and equip our congregation to diligently pursue our mission for God's Kingdom and His glory. • Preaching and Teaching:
  Plan and lead worship services in cooperation with music minister; deliver messages based on sound doctrine and Biblical truth
• Pastoral Care:
  Visitation to members in hospitals, nursing homes and homes as needed; provide counseling services; officiate weddings, funerals and other church ceremonies
• Leadership and Administration:
  Lead the church staff providing an effective and peaceful work environment for the administration of the church; support and encourage teachers and other volunteers
• Evangelism and Discipleship:
  Implement, lead and participate in evangelism efforts to spread the gospel in our community; provide guidance to prospective and new members; encourage spiritual growth and discipleship for the congregation

Full-time/bi-vocational Pastor:
This is a full-time pastoral role. However, recognizing the nature of rural ministry, we offer the flexibility of a bi-vocational option if necessary.

• Salary and Benefits:
  These items will be discussed prior to employment and will reflect experience and needs
• Parsonage: 4-bedroom parsonage with office adjacent to church property
