The Marketing and Communications Associate plays a pivotal role in strategically engaging with Brook Hill students, families, faculty, and community at large through various media channels to effectively tell the story of the school and its community in a compelling way. This person creates and curates content for social media and to support the efforts of other campus departments, that is aligned with the school's mission and vision.
The Marketing and Communications Associate reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications.

- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, photography, or related field preferred
- 2+ years experience in marketing, communications, social media content creation preferred; equivalent portfolio-based experience may substitute
- Demonstrated proficiency with content creation tools including Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom and either Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator; Premiere is a plus)
- Working knowledge of major social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, X, Tik Tok, and You Tube
- Strong visual storytelling ability demonstrated through a portfolio of multimedia content
- Create, produce, and manage photography, video, and written content that communicates the life, mission, and programs of The Brook Hill School across digital and print platforms, including social media, website, and marketing campaigns.
- Attend campus events and activities to capture visual and narrative content that supports institutional storytelling and communications.
- Collaborate with academic, athletic, arts, admissions, and development departments to identify storytelling opportunities and support their communication needs.
- Partner with the Director of Marketing and Communications to plan future content, explore communication trends, and develop creative ideas that keep school messaging engaging and relevant.
- Maintain organized digital media libraries, upload and archive content appropriately, and help coordinate a campus-wide content and photography calendar.
- Assist with writing, editing, and production of newsletters, announcements, and other school communications as directed.
- Support emerging marketing initiatives, communication platforms, and special projects as departmental priorities evolve.
- Occasional evening and weekend hours are required to support school events, activities, and communications needs.
